Hey guys it might be a bit overplayed now, but since I work at a vinyl place now I thought I'd give it a try. In the process of wrapping my SG viggen, it's not that I don't like the color, just wanna try something different...

Matte Black Vinyl Wrap
3M 180C - 12 (black Controltac vinyl)
with 3M Matte over laminate

Project in Progress!

to make wrapping easier, does anyone know how to remove the viggen antenna, the base included not just the unscrewable top; as well as how to remove the spoiler, if it's easy?????

to the mods or whomever is in charge of Saablink stickers, I work at Graphitek in North Hoosick, NY and can get a great price on a large run of vinyl stickers, any size, font, color and over laminate, pm me if you're interested.

thanks!

Spoiler isn't too bad, I think there is a write up on the GS library. You remove the carpeting inside the hatch which shows all the hardware, the most annoying one to get to is the one that holds the rear wiper motor.

Done

After eight hours today it's finally done! There are some spots i'd like to touch up/rewrap and i'm thinking about covering the dark gray plastic pieces.

questions, comments?

Looks good, but i would do the trim to, and also see if you can get some one local to you to take some kick ass shots of the car 'cuz your flash is making it look funky

Looks amazing, but a couple things, if you're gonna black it out, its gotta be BLACK.

Possibilities: paint the insides of the fender wells (dump it while you're there)
and maybe some black caliper paint

I'm drooling anyways though.

It will not ruin paint. You use a heat gun (or hair dryer if need be) and slowly peel it off as you would tints or a clear bra. The whole idea behind vinyl wrap is to temporarily change the appearance of the car or protect the finish beneath it.
