Viggen -- Priority Replacement Parts?

I've been in Saabs for 10+ years. Always a fan, unfortunately never a gear-head. Drove them, found another one. Recently picked up a '99 LB Viggen. I plan on holding on it for a while and want to keep it in top form. Wanted to get an idea as to what is decent to replace mechanically as a preventative measure.

I know that is a wide open question...The vehicle has 80k on the odometer, was a single owner and has a stack or service receipts (which I have not gone through completely). Trans seems okay and I had all fluids flushed when I got the vehicle.

Just wanted to throw this out there. Any thoughts/comments/etc. are greatly appreciated. Anyone with a high-mile Vig (or any 9-3) would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks.

Check the records for when the MAF and DI were replaced. I usually replace the fuel filter after that. I just did all of that on a 140k mile viggen.

I change my plugs every 10k miles
If serp belt/pulley is stock I would swap that ASAP, I think 60-80k is suggested interval

Like others stated di and map are two areas that would be good to replace if they are original

Otherwise just drive it..... I am at 133k miles only viggen, just had to replace the ac compressor (first one went out in 2005 with 51k miles) as well as clutch work

Check the timing chain tensioner and make sure to not let it go too far past the maximum before replacing the chain. I changed mine at 180k but it could be much sooner.

You should also look at replacing the rubber brake hoses as they will crack with age. I've had one burst on a 15 year old car.
