I got my '99 Viggen about a month ago, after fixing a few things wrong and getting it into a good condition. I'm ready to start getting some mods done. So my question would be what would be your top modifications for someone just starting to get work done to a bone stock Viggen?

Thanks

Get the crappy steering stuff fixed first, the vrk (steering rack, brace clamp + subframe brace)

With the age, just do the koni kit, probably skip the improver rear arb

Then add power....

agreed!

I did the power added first to my car, and really wish i had the handling part first. now when i GO GO, its annoying to see the car at half its potential. Do Handling, 3" downpipe, and a tune.

Handling:

Koni's + springs: http://www.genuinesaab.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=56_28&products_id=274

Steering Brace: http://www.genuinesaab.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=56_28&products_id=36

Others: http://www.genuinesaab.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=56_28

Power:

3" Downpipe: http://www.genuinesaab.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=56_24&products_id=403

or have a shop make you one. its significantly cheaper when you provide the cat, o2 bungs, and flanges.

Tune:

Thanks everyone i got alot of good info and a good idea about what I'm going to do first

Can't wait to start getting things done!
Off topic but where do you live in upstate NY? I live upstate as well.

Like everyone said, suspension first. I installed the 22mm ARB on my car and am so glad I did.

Agreed. Take care of items that are wearing out as well. DIC, MAF, struts, etc..

As stated on trolltuner, the stiffer your springs/shocks are, the more acceptable it is to have a smaller diameter rear ARB. I believe the stock viggen rear arb has a smaller diameter at 19mm compared to other models...or maybe other models were the same too...idk, but my point was probably b/c the viggen comes with slight stiffer springs/shocks.
