Well my 84 (flatnose) 900 Turbo finally kicked the bucket and I was in the need of another nice reliable vehicle so one of my friends grandma happened to have a 900 that she never drove and kept basically garaged. So I bought it and now I am the proud owner of a 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition #86 of 325 with 55,000 miles on the odometer. Anyway I'm sure this is what all you guys want to see so here are some pictures. Sorry I didn't take any of the engine bay but it is completely stock so I didn't even think about it at the time.

How am I supposed to keep my place full of great cars when everyone buys them up. :) I own iowa City SAAB, I haven't seen that car as far as I can remember. When the dealer in the quad cities let SAAB go there were alot of people wanting to get rid of thier cars. I think there must be alot of cars hidden in garages yet in your area. That is a very nice example of what I'm talking about. You probably stole it too :) lucky

Wow you own the Iowa City Saab dealership!? It's hard to see because I put a black square over the back license plate but I still have a Iowa City Saab license plate frame around it. I think the pervious owner had taken it up there a few times for service. The owner that I bought it from had actually bought it from a Tech at Streeters (spelling?) back when they were the QC Saab dealer. I'm a Tech for Lujack's and I checked to see if we had an account for Iowa City Saab and unfortunatlly we don't. I need a few things for my car because the pervious owner didn't want to fix some stuff. So you'll probably be hearing from me sometime next week. That's pretty cool that there is a fellow Saablinker so close to me though.

That is one of the most beautiful vehicles that I have ever seen. Would it be appropriate for me to ask how much you paid for such a beauty?
I don't mind at all. I paid $4000 for it. Not sure what they normally go for but I figured that 4k was resonable for a 93 with 55,000 miles.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I thought it was a good looking car but I really didn't realise how well kept it was untill I seen some of these comments. I'm hoping that my Turbo Caravan will be up and driving here by winter so at least if it has to sit in the weather I won't have to drive it. I'm thinkin about getting another storage area so I don't have to have it out in the winter weather but it might be too late to get one now.

Also thanks aireeca for sending me to that registry. I'll be sure to register it there after this post.

I'd say $4000 is a great deal for that car. I'd say to the right person, that's easily a 10K or possibly more car. There are just so few examples of a C-900 in that condition left. Hopefully it's going to be living in a garage?
