those wheels are giving me acid reflux
$14.5 lol

You can buy an E36 ///M3 with a G35 pushing over 400WHP for that price.
saabnet guys are a laugh. I was talking with one this weekend, he was talking about how sweet it would be to find a c900 convertible ski rack, and how it was the most "uber rare" of c900 accessories.

What? I seriously doubt you could buy an e36 M3 AND a 400whp infinity G35 for $14,500.
You could buy a bone stock 95' M3 with 70k for about $15-16k. Show me a well sorted modded one for under $20k and less than 70k miles.

I would say that Viggen is a $10-11k on a good day, rare or not. Prices have come WAAAAY down.

Here are some FI M3's for well under $20k. Right now, you can get a well sorted FI M3 for about $16,000.

He took all the info out.

Anyways, it was a 95 with about 90k. Had a GT35R, immaculate car.
No mention of miles.

I have no doubt you can find a boosted E36 with 100-160k on the body for under $16k. But low mileage is a STRETCH. I have now seen high mileage stock cars in the $8-10k range.

For 16K, you can get a FI M3 with a rebuilt motor.
All of those are nice but the prices are what I thought.

You do not see LOW mileage(70k or less) cars for $16k with forced induction. They can be had with 90-150k on the body. Stock cars have come down in price like you said, 90k can be had for $9-13g's.

I look in my area every couple of weeks.

They're old cars. It's easier to just snag one with a low mile rebuild.

I know.

The same can be said for other cars I like of the era.

But these high mileage cars are selling for as low as $8k, so I am not going to pay another $8k on top because the motor was built up. I pay a bit extra for a well modded car, but not twice as much.

I would rather pay more for a MINT low mileage example. I would love a 99' with say 50-60k for under $15k. It is one of the few cars that I could see replacing the Viggen with and be happy. I looked at getting one at the same time I bought mine but they were TWICE as much.

agreed

i would buy an m3 all day over a viggen if i had 14k

True. I just said stock because it is damn close to stock. Just some minor cosmetic bolt-ons (besides the exhaust and intake.)
I no. I was splitting hairs ;-)
