We had someone break into the trunk my wife’s 1992 900s non/turbo convertible. They totally ripped out the trunk lock cylinder, the only thing left is the outer metal barrel. I’ve ordered a complete lock assembly but can’t find a parts breakdown or instructions on how to install this thing ie where plastic clips or washers go, does anyone have a good link or instructions on how this all goes back together? Thanks for any info you guys can come up with.

Start by removing the interior trim panel from the trunk to access the lock assembly. Depending on your car's configuration, you might need to remove screws, clips, or fasteners around the panel. Take your time, as you don’t want to break any of the plastic clips.
