I've got 205/60-15 on mine. No rub and drive like a dream unless I'm trying to corner really hard. It's stock suspension though so if you're lowered, definitely not. I say go for it if you like the rims. Worst thing that can happen is it doesn't fit, You take em to a used tire place and trade the tires for a different set.

 

Thats only half an inch bigger in diameter, they should fit just fine.

 

Yeah I kind of want to add to this because I just got 17x7's for my saab but I don't know what size tire would fit.

 

Google "miata tire calc". Its a wonderful tool for calculating tire diameters. The stock aero size is 205/55/16, so put that in the stock section. I want to say that the widest tire a 9k can fit is 225ish.

 

The tire calc is one of the greatest things on the internet.

 

its too late the guy already sold them but if anyone has an old set of aero rims with tires i would like to buy them.

 

keep an eye on the classified section and you can always post on the "want to buy section" as well. I've had pretty good luck on there.
