Ugh that was the one wheel i was going to stay as a 17 b/c 18's are more expensive. I'm currently finding out if they can get it in a 5x110 since that was a UK option, not US.

 

TDR's are out of the question. It would take 8-12 weeks before I get them in my bolt pattern and they're very expensive as an 18" wheel. On to the next choice...

I think that's what I'm going to do. Tirerack said since the 18's weren't listed to fit my car, there is a clearance issue or something otherwise it would definitely be there.

There were a whole bunch of new wheels on tire rack last I looked (in 17's)

 

Unfortunately, only 3 are close to decent.

 

I've been very happy with the 17" Focal F-05's from TireRack. Especially considering the price.

I think you'd find the TDR option in 17's not so bad price-wise...you'd still have to wait for the custom delivery time, though.

So it's either the Assetto Gara's or Bremmer Kraft BR05's. To get both in an 18", I'm going to need wobble bolts so it basically comes down to looks(BR05) vs weight savings (Sparcos) and idk which I'd rather have.

Ok the new wheels are in but now I have to wait SO long for a) BBS wobble bolts b) getting the hub centric rings bored from audi to saab fitment and c) find the thinnnnnnest wall 17mm socket on the market. So far I found that gorilla automotive makes one that is .88" in diameter so that should give me enough room in the lug pocket of the wheel. Pics to come in like a week lol.

Ya lol. Wobble bolts were ordered yesterday so that's one down.

 

Bolts are in. Waiting on rings still b/c my friend was too drunk to go into work after the game last night. Hopefully pics will be up tomorrow night.

those dont look half bad...but damn that skyjacked. 18's just dont fare well on stock suspension.

 

agreed.... something doesnt look right there. i had 18's on my stock suspension and it never sat up that high....

 

Wheels look great - not really any different in the rear in terms of height than my vig was on stock susp. Definitely time to drop er down.

 

any chance you can stick a ruler between the inner lip of the wheel and the strut and take a picture?
