Same here.. was getting really frustrated (best price I found was at Wheel Collision for $195 per/wheel before shipping.. and that was for "reconditioned" wheels) .. Ebay Auction closed at just over $500 for the set of 4.. $630 after shipping.. :)

Thats the other thing....I was going to let you know about them in case you hadn't seen them - but then my internet went on the fritz and I had to leave town :-? Either way, you've got 'em now, and you're car is going to look really nice with them!

Shipping for wheels does suck...majorly. I think it cost me in the neighborhood of $200 for my Ronals because of all the packaging to keep them from getting scratched or whatever.

It really depends on how you ship them.. and with whom..

Frankly everybody could save a crap load of money if they packaged every wheel individually in foam and shipped them US Postal Priority Mail.. I ship a lot of things for work and Postal Priority is usually about 1/4 - 1/2 of the cost of Fed Ex and UPS.. and typically gets there in about 2 - 3 days.

The only bad thing about USPS is there's a size restriction on the dimensions of the box that means you'd probably be restricted to one wheel per box.

heh.. just a thought..

And if people are creative with packing materials then you can save a bit - I just picked up a bunch of VERY heavy-duty 2ply cardboard boxes from work that were originally for shipping bowling balls! I can fit 2 rims per box....with tires

On a related note, my 9-3's "new shoes" should be ariving shortly, either at the end of this week, or the beginning of the next...then I'll need tires :-(
