Price: $5750 or best offer
Reason for selling: Three car seats won't fit across the back seat. Yeah, kid number three is due in April.
I wish I could keep it for another 100,000 miles like I'd hoped, but my wife loves her car (fits the car seats too) and I just got the S2000 so the Aero has to be sacrificed for a larger-family-friendly vehicle.
Description: 2004 9-5 Aero Wagon. Silver, with two-tone gray leather interior (I believe this was called the technology package), 125,000 +/- miles. Includes summer wheels and tires (Nexen 3000s purchased in May 2011) and winter wheels and tires (Toyo SnowProxs purchased in October 2011), a brand new still-in-the-box DI, Thule cross bars and Thule ski carrier, and a set of custom and original floormats. The car has all it's manuals and a good amount of paperwork for maintenance.
The Good: The car runs strong, pulls well on the highway and around town. No turbo or oil smoke, paint is in very good shape as I have taken a great deal of pride in this car. The interior is clean, has the technology package's carbon fiber dash and shifter surround and everything works. All the pixels on the SID and ACC function like new. It also has the incredibly hard to find rear decklid to cover the cargo area of the wagon.
The Bad: This car has a rebuilt title. I bought the car knowing that it was a salvage and took my chances. That was 5 years ago now and the Aero has more than surpassed my expectations for reliability, driveability, and longevity. I know that this will be a sticking point for a lot of people so that is why the car's asking price is very fair. It is having an issue with it's headlight ballasts that will soon need to be replaced. The lower front airdam is fairly scraped up and has a crack, but it is virtually invisible and easily repairable. The OnStar antenna is cracked and will need to be replaced or removed.
The price is a fair one considering the extras and is an asking price only. I am open to all reasonable offers, but please do not lowball me. I would prefer to sell everything as a package, however if the car does not sell right away, I might be willing to sell the DI and snows on their own.
