IJ suggested a watch thread, so I thought I'd merge it with glasses too. Post up what you wear. Pics are a must.

Watches:
I've got a Citizen Chronograph right now. Nice watch, keeps good time.

Wearing it with my Saab gloves

Then, as I posted in my other thread, I just ordered an Invicta Grand Diver. Pics when it gets here.

Sunglasses (pics when I can get them):

Ray-Ban x3
-RB3421 Polarized. Love them. They're more of a dressy pair, but I drive with them a lot.
-Gold Caravans
-Some Vintage BL Wayfarers. Just because they're epic and my dad gave them to me. I have to be in the right mood to wear those. haha They're super comfy though!

Maui Jim
-MJ Sport titanium Polarized (like all Mauis). Love them, super light, super comfy, great for driving.

Costa Del Mar
-Ballast in tortoise color. By far my favorites. Best for driving, polarized, comfortable, and durable

Oakley x7
-Half Jacket Transitions. Great for golf, durable. For sale
-Half Jacket w/"rootbeer" frames and goldish lenses. My everything sunglasses. I wear them in the pool, washing the cars, working around the house etc
-Half Jacket in green and bronze w/black lenses. I messed up the colors when I customized them, and I rarely wear them. For sale
-Flak Jacket Black w/black lenses. Got a sweet deal on them new ($80) and they're the ones I leave out and have on me almost at all times.
-Bottle Caps Brown frame, brown lenses. No specific uses. Sometimes wear them to the pool.
-Five Squared. They say you can tan through the frames so you don't get lines, so I wear these at the pool a lot too and working outside
-Square wires Full metal framed black lenses. Another dressy pair

As you can tell, I like my "accessories"

Watches:
Panerai Marina
Panerai Flyback
IWC Portuguese Automatic

I'm a big fan of Panerai watches. Its a great all round watch. The downside is that they are rather large and can get stuck on the cuffs of smaller shirts.

My glasses come from Costco, I have a bad astigmatism so I am very limited on my prescription sunglasses :th_thumbsdownsmiley

Tudor Ranger
and an incoming Magrette Bronze cased watch

If you're into watches I hihgly reccomend Watchuseek.com, world's most visited Watch Forum Site l Watch l Horloge l Uhr l Montre Orologi l Relojes l Relogios. I've been to meetups with the members of this forum in Bangkok, NYC, and Wash. DC and its always a great time!!!!

The sunglasses pictured are ray ban aviators(polarized black). For sunglasses I have a pair of Native eyewear sport glasses for biking and some Smith polarized for fishing. Ray ban for casual wear.

mm, dem omegas :th_MySaab900Like:

I'd love a vintage Speedmaster, just can't justify the price at the moment. My daily office watch is a Michael Kors, 45mm face which I like. A little bit showy, but eh :)

It'll now be splitting duty with the Skagen courtesy of IJ

I have a couple basic Fossils and a Seico that I wear occasionally when I need something I don't mind getting beat up. I think the next one will be a Citizen Nighthawk or Calibre.

Thanks IJ. I love it. Only complaints are the metal fascia scratches too easily and it eats batteries like a 9-3SS eats headlight bulbs. But bonus points for being so different, it's almost a conversation starter. Everyone from clients to females says "Whoa, cool!" $200 well spent.

Can anyone give insight on these? The first is a Tag Heuer Professional 200m Quarts Movement. The second is an Altair 17 Jewel Auto, that ,from what I can find, is from the mid 50's, but I have no idea. It runs, but doesn't keep time. It's in pretty bad shape. The third is a Gruen Precision Autowind. Runs and keeps time as far as I can tell. It's in rough shape too. Just curious about these. I know of Tag Heuers, but nothing about the other two. Just found them in my house.

1950 Bulova flip-top photo watch--very swank. I only wear it when I have the monkey suit on. This is just like mine--including original Bulova leather band-- but not an actual picture. I have a photo of my wife inside mine.

My daily is just a cheapo stainless steel Fossil Arkitekt tank watch with a hypoalergenic neoprene and stainless band and a badly scratched crystal. I'm pretty tough on watches. Got tired of replacing good ones.

I am not a sunglasses kind of guy because I wear prescription. I have one that I use everyday but it's non brand name.

Watches, on the other hand, are my thing. I can't leave the house without one, makes me feel naked. I prefer them heavy, I hate thin, light watches. I like tactical and aviator watches, and some scuba, and genericals too.

The one I wear most of the time is a Seiko Aviator SNA411, classic aviator watch, even has the rotary calculator that I actually use once in a while.

I have about 5 or 6 Suunto watches, my favorites are the X10i (I use the GPS in it for orienteering) and the Advizor (I use the heart rate monitor on it).

My first really expensive watch was a Tag Heuer F1, which my mom gave me as a present when I graduated Army basic training.

My favorite diving watch is the Marathon Tritium SAR (TSAR) H3 Diver's Watch, it came with three bands, rubber, nylon web and stainless steel. It is a super macho watch, chunky, heavy and I could probably kill somebody with it.

A cool watch I have is the Maratac ACQ Compass Watch, which has a digital sensor that detects the magnetic field of the earth and adjusts the compass for the proper declination. You always get magnetically-correct compass bearings from it.

Last Christmas my wife surprised me with an MTM Predators watch with the black steel band, which is made of black stainless steel with a carbon fiber face.

I also have a couple of Cassio G-Shock and Timex watches that I use at work.

You mean like this :

That's a bear paw print the size of my hand in the snow. A small bear. You can barely see it but it's my Seiko Aviator on the wrist.

Most of the watches I own were gifts from my wife or my mom. Both of them know that if they need to buy me a present they can default to a nice hefty watch and I'll be happy.
