So after my drive home today I will say that it is officially TURBO SEASON,

you know that time of year when the roads are still dry and grippy and the air temperatures are down enough that our ICs and turbos are very happy.

the time of year when you drive with the windows down and the seat heat on.

that time when you have the windows down and the tunes up.. (or you just listen to that happy spooling whistle)

anyway just wanted to post this up as a place to put your feelings thoughts and pictures of

TURBO SEASON!

I know what Nowhereman means...

It was kind of hot and humid here for a while, but all of the sudden it cooled off a lot in the past few days, and the turbos have really PERKED UP in response.

You mash it, and the cars just grab hold, spool up, and launch. It's awesome. It's turbo season!

Water/Methanol Injection makes it Turbo Time All The Time. There is no need to wait for cooler weather.

x2! I FINALLY got my install completed after starting it over a year ago. I drove the car last night for the first time with a fresh 50/50 mixture. I agree, feels just like a cool fall morning.

Now if I can only fix my damn clutch issues--buts that's another story...

It's still f***ing HOT and humid down here! It is NOT Turbo Season in Northern Virginia.

Not yet, anyway. That doesn't come until late September/October.

Enjoy it in NH. We've got a couple weeks yet.

yeah i got my new 3" turbo back put on a couple days ago. so going from LPT CS to FPT, Full 3", and the cool air.. suzie q (yes she has a name and i didn't come up with it) feels like a new vehicle. even with the T25 she moves pretty quick.. and sounds oh so nice

Drove the Commemorative into the office yesterday (usually home office), and yes, Turbo Season is here! Over night it has gone from 95 deg, 85% humidity, down to 80 deg, abou 60% humidity. Gorgeous outside, and the turbo is loving it!

Side note, stopped by Walgreens to pick up some alergy meds on the way in. Lady outside taking a smoking break asks me what kind of car it was (are c900s getting that rare?).

Me: "It's a Saab."

Her: "Sweet car!"

Huh! That was cool!

45* here in upstate NY the past couple mornings. I think my 900 will suffer withdrawls this weekend when I'm down towards your neck of the woods...

Oh, 80 was the high. Low 50's in the a.m. ;-)

If you're in the neighborhood, you should stop by. I may be replacing heater hoses on my nephew's base 8v 900.

i am loving the weather on my drive in to work... however i have to be more careful the 9k even with the T25 loves to pull to 90-95 and cruise at that without a problem. granted the new exhaust sounds so nice i might have a heavier foot too...
