anyone see this thing on Abbott's site? Looks nice, but expensive. i thought Nick T had one for sale that was similar, but much more reasonably priced, but I can't seem to find it anymore on his site.

I am wondering what the performance gains would be, if any besides quicker spool-up. Abbot claims a 10-12 HP increase for t7 cars, and i thought T7 only makes so much power unless you get an ECU remap to take the extra parts into account....and without a larger intake, wouldn't the same amount of air still be going through this fatter pipe?

We were getting them from BSR but the quality became so poor that only half of them would bolt on! We recently gave up on Sweden and are producing them in house. These are quite a tricky part! We have included some updates that are pretty cool. Should have a few done by late next week.

been waiting exactly for this. abbott's prices are insane. they're laughably oblivious to it, or maybe they have this fake upper-crust mentality that says charge high prices and people will believe the part is worth it...

I was preparing to have one fabbed....

Aiming for somewhere around 350. But it all depends on what the numbers add up to when we get into full production. Lots of tedious bits..

How good have you been looking out for the crankscase vent connection/alignment/position?
This is really inportant since some delivery pipes on the market bascially destroy the whole vent system from working and it will lead to troubles.

Larger image This one too

Look what I did today 8) They have not been prettied up yet, one of the other guys will get to it monday. The best part is they all fit perfect on the cars! All the bugs have been worked out. These are made for the 9-3 specifically. The 9-5 parts from Europe will not work with the 9-3 steering pump. 9-5 version is next on the list. Also we will be able to easily make a short pipe to fit T5 cars with the T7 turbo fitted.

Vigge, We are basically using the 04 9-5 style crank vent interface... Some may be as the older style since we seem to have have been able to hold a really close tolerance...

I have been running one since we could get the poor quality ones from Sweden and my Viggen only had an optiflow... The change is definitely noticeable. Most noticeable going back to stock when the guys stole mine to make a customer happy. After they we not available from Sweden. You can definitely feel the turbo spool better. The increased flow also helps the peak hp but we all know about incremental power claims on T7...The gain will be hard to quantify since it mostly help the drivability by broadening the area under the torque curve. These are necessary for most high output stages. It is important to reduce all the restriction possible on the intake side of the turbo since it is not a pressurized portion and we cannot simply up the boost to counteract poor flow.

I just hope Nick yours is priced under $150 because that is where are is priced and it's stainless steel. Noticing your posting under some of our products trying to divert our potential customers so I see no reason why I should not return the favor. People looking for these should check ebay we will be listing one there next week starting at $100.

We also will be releasing 15 new products within the month at honestly affordable prices.

Cool if you can provide a quality part for $100 while retaining all the factory fit that is awesome. Material costs are near that with all the flanges and other features. NT

Actually any company or any person is free to promote products on TSL. This allows everyone to stay current as to new products on the market as they are released.

It may be best for each company to have seperate threads regarding their products so that "battling" per say doesn't take place.

The last thread howeve, was locked because it was starting to go off topic, and the original post issue had already been resolved. Not for any other reason.

With that said...lets keep this on topic.
