well i have recently had a seal go in my turbo. im going to replace it. but i am interested in doing the compressor upgrade to the t28. im wondering roughly how much it would cost and what i would have to do to remount it into my car. any difference in inlet and outlet sizes?

If its a proper t28, it will bolt right up with no modifications. The only thing is if you go with a bigger turbo, you need to get a new ECU and bigger injectors.
That said, I have a 'big' T28 which is working out great for me, expect to pay around $500. PM Chadwick on here, he does them.

So did you go with a T25 upgaded to a T28 from Chadwick or a pure T28?

If the latter, are any cars fitted with T28 stock that fit in the Saab?

where did you get your injectors? the only ones ive found are the bosch on elkparts.

8valvegrowl can do a custom tune i believe so thats the part im least worried about.

i just want more powahhh. im not as thrilled with what i have anymore.

I have ran around for years on an upgraded T28 done by Limit Engineering in AZ with no upgraded injectors or ECU. Back then it was around $500.

Ask Chadwick to do it up for you.

Once EPL gets a wideband we are gonna turn it up really good.

Yep, Chad upgraded a T25 he wanted gone so I got a good deal on it. Its a true 'Big' T28 because the internals were bored out to accept the full t28 wheels. I dont think he does them anymore since the machining process is labor intensive and not worth the extra money but I lucked out on one.

I dont think there are too many T28 turbos off of other cars, but Garrett GT28 turbos fit.
