Saw this on a site from Ultraracing. Looks like the old brace from that guy in Malasia, denmaster I think on SC.

I have a new uninstalled one in the garage I will need to compare it.



THey also have upper strut bars and rear ( only) 20mm sways

It looks EXACTLY like the old one from SC, except for the nice white paint. I guarantee you it will break just like mine and almost all the others. I think it's just trying to immobilize what can't be stiffened. I would love it if this thing worked but I highly doubt it. :(

THey offer similar braces for all types of cars, Mine never broke it was on my 2000 and made a big difference..

Any chance you had poly wishbone & other bushings?

They break from excessive flexing of the front subframe.
I suppose poly bushings could narrow down the subframe movement to where this can survive. Could you note your suspension mods on this 2000 9-5?

Nope, most of these seemed to break on late odel cars ( with the new hubs) th eolder ones seemd to work ok, but they did have poor welds, better welds would make it last longer
