Steven Wade to Attend Swedish Car Day
As Swedish Car Day nears, want to pass along some updates:
First event of the weekend is a joint Saab/Volvo advanced driver training date run by In Control at their South Weymouth, Massachusetts facility. Besides their regular program, there will also be a cornering/autocross drill for the entertainment of the students. Volvos and Saabs will be provided, and we expect to have a 9-3X there. The class takes place on Saturday, August 28 from 8am to 2:30 pm and costs $275. Use the link below to sign up.
On the early evening of August 28, there will be a casual reception at Charles River Saab for Swedish Car attendees, and we will be introducing our very special SCD guest, all the way from Hobart, Australia, Steven Wade, aka Swade of Saabsunited.com . Steven will also be participating in the driving event.
Sunday, August 29 is the main event at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum. Swade will be our featured guest, and there will also be a restoration presentation of a 1971 142 GT in the museum. Show starts at 10:00, but we will open the lawn for entrants at 8:00. Fee is $20.
