Sometimes when I go to start my car it starts right up then dies then I start it again and it runs fine? any ideas?

Also what kind of vac pressure are you guys running at idle?

Thanks Matt

for a c900 or 9000 idle vac is in the range of 15-20. Check your MAP and your idle air controller. Could be wires or the actual units... if you have a c900 or a 9000 anyways. If you have newer - not sure which route to go.

well as goes your vac. I'd say it's about as good as it gets. Seek elsewhere for the problem. I just saw you sig and noticed it's a 94 900. I'll think about your prob. and see if I can figure it out for ya. I'm not too familar yet with the 94+ Saabs.

this happened to me when my belt was about to go, it'd die because the belt wasn't spinning freely enough, my tensioner and idler pulleys seized, check your belt dude
