Question: Why don't you downshift and get the rpms higher/acceleration faster?

 

if i accelerated that high in the rev range in third it would not be nice to the tranny thats why not plus the old vid was fourth gear so.

as for boost - its a bigger turbo guys...same oost = more air flow, so less oost still means more power. 20 is the meat of this turbos flow. although i think its a little low...plus it was 85 degrees. It goes past red, i boost 10 at like edge of red...trust me i have a gauge and know it was at 20.

agreed... and why not more boost? That doesnt even look like 20 i thought the end of the red was 15? Thats where my needle is with an MBC on stok ecu.

thats cause hes in fouth at 60 mph he probably could have gone another 30mph in the same gear... my second goes with out red lineing to 70. The whole vid could have easly been done in 3rd.

 

I could make a 60-100 vid in 4th, but my car has a t25 and a 3" and intake. It puts out about 197hp and 235 lb/ft at the wheels which is pretty close to what a stock aero would do. I'll give it a shot, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow night. If I don't go to jail then I'll post a vid ;-)

 

hmmmm... that video doesnt seem to flattering for some reason.... but then again, a lot of videos dont really show the true thing.....

 

me and Nathan discussed this, its the way the numbers are spaced on the 9k speedo that makes our cars look slow in vids.... :smile:

 

It does make it look slow. I know that isn't slow, because I see a similar sight in my 9k...although only stage 4.

Its not quite as slow as my 900

 

yeah the vids are proving to be quite awckward...which is why i want a stockvid. My stage 4 vid seems to match the stage 5 at 10 second or a little less 60-100 which isnt bad. but it just doesnt feel strong to me...dunno why...franks gonna look at it at soc

ive tried acceleration vids but i cant spare the extra hand to hold the camera...steering wheel jumps too much.

 

something must be wrong nate..... you should definately be pulling harder than that through the RPM's... never mind the speedometer I'd get it checked by some of the guys with tech2's while we're there.

 

yeah it will be getting checked out and hopefully frank will look at the sw.

but just so you guys know..its putting out over stage 4 power...which was 255whp...so whoever was making "im faster comments" is wrong

 

yeah i just noticed that it stalls at 90 for a second. it definetly pulls hard but...i dunno...this car never runs right. in all honesty i should have checked the back pressure...i could have clogged the race cat when it was so rich.

i guess we'll find out saturday...you get tuned yet matt?
