Your 30,000 K HIDS are absolutely terrible, but I'm sure you get plenty of crap for them.

Not exactly sure what i'm doing about the color yet. It's definetely a either you like them or you don't kinda thing. I'm at least giving it a chance cause you hate to spend the money and not at least give them a shot.

I'll see how long i can stand it and them i'll try the 10,000k

Car has close the 318,000 now....

I just installed a new speedo so the miles aren't going to match, so that sucks. Anyone know how to put the correct miles on a new speedo/ odometer?

 

Well, those HIDs dont look that bad on that car. That thing sounds sweet! I want to have an SPG like that some day...

 

thanks, i definetely like the bov sound. - The videos didn't even get the sound boosting in the red. I'll have to be someplace better than campus next time i record....

It was freakishly warm (almost 70 degrees) in PA today, so she got her legs stretched.... I def. post more if the weather stays nice.....

Love the SPG.The seats are great and I love the sound. What type of exhaust are you running? Sounds great. Also, I notice that you have the cup holder in the center console. How did you mount it under the tray and are those OEM floor mats?

- It's basically the same as the group6 i had years ago. - Sounds the same but was a lot less $$$

I cut the center consol apart and fabricated the cup holder to fit. I wasn't that hard, but took a little while to figure out how to do it. - I shopuld've taken photos, but am too lazy. lol

I love having a cup holder there.....

Yeah, sound really nice. I did basically the same thing with mine. When I first got the car, I had a cat back system installed with a high performance cat and Dynomax or Magnaflow muffler. Was a little too subtle for my taste. I then removed the muffler and had a straight exhaust installed and boy was that a boo boo :shock:...I finally wound up installing a cherry bomb glass pack and I love the sound. I'm thinking of purchasing a header for it but not sure of what it would do to the sound...oh well, decisions, decisions...

I also have the cup holder but didn't like it down in the slot in the center console and I didn't want to put it up top where the radio is...I like where you have yours located. I'll see if I can fabricate something similar.

Thanks, i'm working on the headlight issue. - Def don't like these after i drove at night with them.

- I'm actually thinking about a angel eye or led strip inside the headlights, then e-codes with maybe 10,000k? still in the r&d stages now, but i'll keep everyone informed.

 

I've never seen that 4 spoke steering wheel( 1st page ) on the SPG. Is that a rare item?

 

I guess it's rare. It's a Momo from the Saab accessories catalog. Took me two years to find it...

I'm constantly improving or modifying the car. Just painted the wheels, door sills, header and distributor vaccum mod. It seems like it never ends, but a lot of fun.

Only thing I know i that it was in an accessories catalog at one time. (late 80's mabye, and MOMO maid it) I found it on ebay and instantly liked it when i saw it. Just feels right too.

 

Really sweet and love how it sounds. Have alway loved SPG's and they are my dream car. Maybe one day.......
