Sometimes Colorado Sucks

Learned something new today. It takes ping pong ball sized hail to dent your car. The Saab now has a few 'speed holes' thanks to a huge thunderstorm. The dents aren't large but they are very noticeable. Then it snowed today on Pikes Peak and temps tonight will dip into the 40s. I'm about to turn the furnace on.

Ouch. You gonna get them fixed?
Snow in July? I know Pikes Peak is up there, but snow?

It was 95 degrees here yesterday.
Snow in July- What's up with that?

Mt. Washington (only 6288') in NH had to close it's auto road to the top because of snow a week ago. We've been breaking record high temperatures this week. Methinks VL has something to do with it. WUWT?

Hail is an act of God - if you have resonable insurance they won't charge you a deductible to fix those FYI

I'll trade you weather.... you can have the 100* shit we have had here for a week.
Man that sucks, "hail damage" typically totals a car if you go through your insurance... Ready to move back to the Lehigh Valley yet? It does not hail here, ever!

I hear you bro. +1
Bummer. Pretty common to get that a few times a year here. We hear hail in the forecast and all the cars come inside stacked on lifts etc.

The baseball size hail just knocked the paint off my v4. The SS alu hoods looked like golfballs.
Yeah my dad has been telling me that the weather has been pretty erratic out there as of late. He is north of Denver and they had some nasty storms recently. Sorry about the damage to the car.

It's pretty chilly year round at 14,115 feet.

X2 can't take this weather anymore....I'm melting!

Saw a car yesterday, looked like someone took a ballpin hammer to the whole thing. Doesn't look too bad in the pics. Can you live with it? Does suck to have it happen though.
Paintless dent repair, Mine was fixed in about an hour and looked 100% 12 dents for $120 and the guy came to me :D

And you're having hail and snow while we're we're burning up here in a heat wave in Canada
Miami is 90 but feels like 110 with the humidity. It feels like sticking your head in an oven.

But ill gladly suffer heat vs cold anyday

Today was our first day below 90 since Monday and our first rainfall since June 30th. The humidity has made it feel like 100+. It's early in the year for us to be this hot, usually August and September are our hottest months. A cold front just moved through and the humidity is supposed to be gone tomorrow with a high of 85.

But I'm with you, I'll take heat over cold every time.
Where r u, mn?

I'm in sobe on lebron watch. Not that I care about the guy, but its gonna be a great people watching night. Bball players really bring out the bugattis, hoodrats, and benzes on spinners
That was probably the 8th or 9th time it has hailed this year, and the largest. The hail usually comes between 5pm and 7pm so I am home to protect my wife’s vegetable garden. But we’ve lost a lot of plants to the hail. I’m not going to file a claim because the car’s value is so low, it’s just not worth it. The paintless dent removal is a good idea though and probably the best solution.

I can still see snow on Pikes Peak left over from the winter. The dusting it got the other day is already gone. The weather is returning to normal with highs in the 80’s. And no I will not trade you weather. I’ve spent enough summers on the east coast, I’m not going back to that.
