I will kick off the day with some Harp Lager for breakfast. Its a little too early for guiness. I'll prolly cook some lego eggo's and finish off some harp with a few people. After my first 10am class I'll move to the irish carbombs of jameson and guiness. This will pull me through to the afternoon, where I'll probably pick back up with harp or something lighter. I probably wont even care what I drink in the evening or night. Last year I didnt even go out because I exhuasted myself during the day. anyway my lineup:

Harp Lager
Jameson
Guiness stout

Well, seeing as how I'ma be spending most of my day at St. (insert saint's name here) Church for Auntie Jenny's funeral, I guess communion wine might be my pregame... failing that, having not been to confession in a super long time, I'll probably see what's kicking around at the obligatory Italian after-funeral gathering then head to my usual haunts around Portsmouth for some Killians, Harp and if the mood strikes me, Guinness.

I will be proudly be drinking a single malt of Scottish birth, much like Saint Patrick himself...

St. Patrick of Ireland is one of the world's most popular saints.
Apostle of Ireland, born at Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton, in Scotland, in the year 387; died at Saul, Downpatrick, Ireland, 17 March, 461.

Born in Scotland.

You know Guinness Draught(which is what most places have on tap) has one of the lowest alcohol contents of any beer? Seriously, less than a Bud Light. Still delicious, though.

And Killians is brewed by Coors.

I'll be drinking Smithwicks, myself. Even though it also has a very low abv, at 4.3% IIRC. Harp is also good, but unfortunately the stuff we get here in the states is brewed in Canada by Labatt.

Also, Murphy's. Mmmmmmm.

Tough decision.
Of course we have some Guinness and Smithwicks in bottles, but Sam Adams is on the tap right now.
Our St Patrick's dinner is on Sunday night. I can almost smell the corned beef and cabbage. I know it's not traditional Irish fare, but it's damn good.

Sláinte!

I just got back from the store. Picked up a sixer of Harp and Killians. That's just to get me through the workday tomorrow, though. Someone else is bringing in the makings for car bombs. Should be fun.
