so i popped the amber part of the corner off of the clear... but it's in one big piece. what's the best way to break it up so i can get it out? i've tried a few things with the screwdriver, but it ends up hitting the clear and starting to crack it.

just took 2 pictures... not much you can show for a stock 5 dr. at your house. plus this is literally the very first mod done to the car... there'll be a few others, but nothing major. so when this picture finally uploads, i'll let you guys give me some ideas for cheap crap to do since i'm a poor college guy.

i plan on doing something with the sides, doesn't look right with clear and amber there.

oh yea, plans in the future are:

20% tint all around
possibly some borbet wheels... most likely type H
if i somehow run into a lot of money and have nothing to spend it on... a decent drop will be underway.
hopefully something with the headlights... have no idea what though.

so other than wheels, suspension, tint, and lights... is there anything i can do for pretty cheap?

if i can't find them cheap then there's no use in doing it... but the 9-3s look a helluva lot better than the 900 to me, so it would be a big improvement in my eyes.

performance wise... i'm not in denial. it's an N/A 900, i'm going nowhere fast. i might as well be comfortable, though.

girl i used to bang... i thought it was a sexy picture so i put it up. sorry to disappoint.

another question... what is there to do about the trunk of the 900? definitely not a fan of the middle light panel that does nothing... but the license plate lights are in that. where are the plate lights for the 9-3 and what can i do about moving my lights there and removing said panel?

9-3 doesn't have panel peice, they were on the NG900's
If you want to get rid of that try to find a panel peice like the one josuar88 has pictured above between his rear lights.

If you put the corners in the oven for a little while and get them warm, NOT HOT the tiny glued in pieces will come out easier. Just let them get warm for about 15 minutes and it softens the glue.
I used an old brake adjusting tool to get at the tough parts.

oh the lights auto zone did them all the way around just bring in the amber ones and ask. Haven't been pulled over for them and they all came out to be as little as $20. People say my rear directionals look like my backup lights are having a one way seizure.

How are you going to put a 2din piece into a 1 3/4 din slot? I would have the pioneer avc-1,2, or 3 for that matter if I could :)

As for the amber corners for inspection, dont be concerned. I have real e-codes and passed just fine.

As for the rear decor panel, I am trading my stock reflector one for a 94/95 painted one. Looks better, but if anyone (9-3 black :) ) wants to trade hatches, im all for that haha.

Other great additions for you would be some suspension bits to go with the hweels you want to pick up. Along with a saab sport exhaust and intake. It will sound fast at least :p

it's not a 2 din piece though is it? i thought it was just over 1?

we don't have a true "inspection" in illinois that i know of... if we do i have never done anything with it. we have emissions, but they don't check anything like that. unless non-amber lights throw a CEL for some reason? then it could be a problem

suspension will be one of the last things i do. this is gonna be sort of just a beater when i pick up a bike at the end of last season. i'm sure that i will have plenty of other things to spend money on though. and i'm not sure if i want to even do wheels, too expensive as well unless i can get something decent from the mexicans by me.

the painted reflectors on the hatch i don't like.. i'd rather do it right and get it gone. exhaust, if i ever do it i will buy a muffler and have one custom bent at a shop by me. i know my buddy with a stealth got dual exhaust bent for like $140 and a single is like $110.

The bulb numbers I believe are 356 and 357 the rear ones are double filliment but the guys at autozone should know exactly which ones to get just bring in the front and rear bulbs and ask to get the same in clear.[/QUOTE]

will do! looks good man. thanks.
