I guess I'll add to this. Last night I saw an older c-900 that looked lowered and had some dark colored rims on N. Main in Concord NH with a guy driving it. It was around 6:45pm, they were heading up the street, north. I was coming out of some parking garage I can't remember the name of and down onto N. Main.

I also saw a blue ng900 a couple weeks ago in Manchester at a gas station on Brown Ave that had areo rims. Looked pretty good.

 

I think the Cayenne Red may have been Nick? Maybe?


I saw a red Viggen today. It was the GoViggen. I would have had a little play with it, but I was not driving.

 

Saw a very clean, rust free spg. The newer style one with the facelift. License plate read "MY SPG"

 

I see shit loads of nice SAABs on a daily basis.

Today on my way to get some stuff from a local "home center" I saw a stunning black 9-5 aero with medium dark tinted windows and black BBS rk1s, I believe the man driving it was middle eastern or possibly latino. It was a bitchin car, and I didn't get a chance to wave :-(

 

There is a SICK 03/04 red aero wagon with black wheels I have seen a few times.

He usually rolls by when I am walking into work. I think I may try and catch him one of these days. It's always nice and shiny too.

but mike, if it is in fact cayanne red, i do beleive it is a 1999. iirc, that is the only year that a 9-5 was made in the Cayanne red metallic color. and also, you will never see a cayanne red aero either. i dont beleive they made any.

i will be looking into this more, as i want real numbers on years and how many cayanne red's, that there are driving around.

well it was some deeper red, merlot red maybe? i dont know what its called!

So not a Saab, but I spotted a black Lambo Diablo at the Wal-Mart parking lot... saw some vertical doors out of the corner of my eye. First thought: "Aw, shit. Some ricer POS with lambo doors.."

oh the guy down the street got 2 really amazing looking SPGs, got a wave from a modded 9-3, another wave from a red c900 vert. one of the local SPG owners told me he got a new one, a 1990 SPG Black on Black, with 50,000 ORIGINAL MILES! I wish i could have gotten his old one, it was in perfect shape and only have like 150k on it.

 

Saw a black 02 SE convertible w/sport package on the way to work and a brownish/tan looking 02 vert w/sport package as well.

....and 50k on an SPG? That thing's done a lot of sitting.

Oh, and I met a cool kid this week with a 99 9-3 with a mbc, turboxs bov, other mods, and chrome wheels.... I told him bout Saablink, but I haven't seen him on here yet.... he was thinking about going with JSP.... I was like, NO! lol. Nordic or SQR.... This kid is cool though, he doesn't know much bout the potential that Saab's have... he's still learning I met him at the movie theatres in W. Lebanon, NH

 

I saw a green c900 vert today w/bronze colored wheels...on two occasions. I think the guy lives down the street from me...about three weeks ago a guy who was walking by saw me washing the 9k and complimented me on it, said he had a c900 convertible.

 

yeah the guy brought by his 50k SPG, 54K actually but still insanely low. guess what, this car looks like it just left the showroom. everything is flawless. i went over it top to bottom and just find the car amazing, it even has the original stereo in it! I'm trying to talk him into coming down for SOC for a day.

 

Ok, I saw two sweet Saabs in the past 24 hours. The first was a 9000 as I was traveling down Route 3 south in Nashua just past exit 6 last night around 6:30. It definitely had an exhaust on it as the tip was round and large. I gave him a thmbs up, and he darted off around me. I am pissed I couldn't have a friendly match of "who's faster" but I was already late to where I was headed.

Then today around 12:30, I was heading down 101 east towards the beach. A silver 5 door Viggen with tint and possibly aftermarket wheels passed us. It had a NH temporary vanity plate on it saying "-Snaab-" or maybe just "Snaab" without the dashes. I wasn't in my Viggen then, I was riding in a 9-5 wagon. Anyone know who these guys are?

 

I saw a c900 turbo today with an airflow bumper and rear window louvers.

had some saab decals on the rear quarter windows, and the kid proceeded to chirp second. I was at the gas stating and I think he saw me give him the thumbs up. Too bad it wasnt near my home town, so doubt I'll see him again

Yeah, i think i know who the -Snaab- person is.... It's a girl with a silver viggen.... She lives in um Raymond i think... did it mille miglias and have eyebrows by any chance? Her name is Sarah. I talk to her on myspace quite a bit.... I got pissed off at her the other day because she is putting the EVO spoiler on it... grrrr.... I was trying to tell her not to do any exterior mods like that as the viggen is pretty much perfect inside and out from the factory.... I told her to save her money and get ECU tuning and shit.... Not some ricey spoiler... She doesn't know any better though, she hangs out with super ricers and goes to NOPI shows :? :evil: :roll:

today i was parked next to a porsche speedster. yes. thats right. it was black. i took cellphone photos. i also saw a red ferrari going the other way on the turnpike here in maine, and when i was pulled over in to a weighing area on 101 in nh today, some 9k spooled up and blew off at me. cool beans.

But anyway, yeah, that is definitlely the car. I couldn't really tell who was driving or what the rims looked like (75 mph..) - all I could tell however was, the rims had red/silver center caps. Didn't see the front of the car as I was a bit busy. Someone said "Hey, is that a Viggen like yours Mike?" and I turned and was like, aww crap it's even got tint.

Do your best to talk her out of an evo spoiler. That would not look anywhere near pleasant on a Viggen. Eyebrows don't really look all that great on a Viggen either....that's too bad. Isn't the stock spoiler ridiculously expensive from the dealer on the Viggens? Maybe someone can pick it up for cheap if she does go ugly with it.

edit: that riced RSX in on of the pics reminded me of the rsx I saw get smoked by a bone stock 2004ish Dodge Ram 2 wheels drive with a V-6 from a stop then again on the highway...it was mad funny.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again... Viggens are best left stock for exterior and interior.... Carbon fiber door handles are cool, carbon fiber saab dash cool as well... clear corners and smoked side markers also cool.... and yes of course suspension..... but pretty much anything else is retarded.... The Viggen is pretty much perfect looking stock.....
