Considering the look on his face and his pause prior to taking it, and then proceeding to put it in his pocket and drive off, I don't think he talked it over with the owners.

YES! As terrible as the car is, it really captures the beauty and perks of a convertible. Also, a good song. I was actually just about to post it, glad I read your post first!

This song of his works even better for convertibles. That was the ComEd's theme song as I drove along the coast of Connecticut waiting for something to happen.
Also, that VW commercial always reminded me of driving U.S. 3 along the upper Connecticut River in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. That was always a heavy-thinking drive of mine when I lived up that way. We did a bit of that on the first day of the Canada trip.

Also...the song in the background of the beginning of this Top Gear installment is fantastic for any spontaneous rally driving...
It's "Grounds for Divorce" by Elbow. I recommend that, if any of the Saab ad folks are at all listening, they use it for their first, pre-GM divorce ads.
