yeah, I see what you're saying. My plan after cleaning up the wheels is to bore out the center hub and bolt em on. People will make fun of my non-flush rear, but I'll just give them the whole reverse staggered/understeering spiel. Thanks for the input, man.

+1...

Do it.

I have 20mm H&R spacers in the front only.

Got the tires off today at Walmart for $5/tire; not bad. Hatchback ftw!

Current state of the wheels. Oxidized, light curb on two wheels, dirty, etc. Oh, and I need to find another center cap or make something fit.

The lip and barrel ARE welded together so they are only 2 piece wheels. Not the end of the world.

I will be sanding this light curb down during the refinishing of the wheels

I've got a lot to soap down, sand, and polish :/

At first I thought I'd gone to vwvortex by mistake, until I saw a SAAB emblem. Jk, I like those wheels, and you're doing something different.

Curb disappears after just a little sanding with 120 grit.

Bolts after Coke treatment and some 3M rubbing compound.

2nd the creativity with using Coke. Nice wheels too. I just picked up a similar set of old-school AREs...granted they're a bit larger though. Can't wait to see this wrapped up!

Close up :)

Inner barrels will get dirty anyway, but I'm kind of a perfectionist and got carried away with cleaning them haha.

Received my wobble bolts only a few days after my order was placed!

needs more wide! 7.5 too narrow
These are 16x7 actually, haha. That would be awesome if it was wider, but the low offset will do just fine for me. I honestly could not have gone wro ng with how cheap I got these. Just needed so elbow grease.
