First looks kinda nice. Specially after watching Ironman 2 :) But one of the comments on the page made me think: what if it's raining or snowing like there's no tomorrow?

But it certainly does look cool!

A very intriguing approach to those age-old vehicle challenges of access, egress and "door dings." I wonder how it might work with a convertible?

From another aspect of my life, it would be interesting to see how rescue personnel would react in the event of a crash requiring occupant extrication. Could be quite a task trying to get these doors opened after impact. And the entire premise of the "Jaws of Life" has to do with attacking those two hinges and that Nader Bolt.

Believe me, we will find a way to rip those doors off just fine! I think a nice A Pillar cut would make it quite easy..............case in point........we should try it..Can I borrow your car?

Thank You...NO, but the offer is certainly appreciated! ;-)

Sounds like you may have been to a "cut job" or two.

Yeah, I agree, theres logical issues like opening a door in a crash, or if it should head into a river, ect.
but then again on the areo-x and 9-x you run the same issue...

the nice part is that you simplify the car, by removing bulky door handles

I wonder how much weight that contraption adds? Seems like key reinforcements would need to done in order to retain safety and structural rigidity. Really neat concept though, looks really smooth on those lincolns!
