This is a good road into Foxwoods. Lots of neat bump-ups and turns. Careful, though, it can be a kill-a-majig.

You might also want to venture over toward Pachaug State Forest on the CT/RI line. Some good rally-stage roads over there.

Points East of Tolland rally point (ie Rhode Islanders)



Anyone coming from RI of MA that do not wish to meet in Tolland, please feel free to join us part way on Route 49 (Ekonk Hill Road) on the Sterling/Voluntown Line - more like Voluntown actually. This is in the Pachaug Forest, as quoted above.

There is a boat dock and parking area literally right across the street from the entrance to Pachaug on Rt 49. We would be there sometime around 930am.

Yup, Tolland is what we call home, spent 12ish years there. I love the drive from there down to Foxwoods and out to the RI coast.

 

I am going to see if I can get it off. It would be fun!

Got back a little while ago. Will post pics from the back of the line eventually. Just glad the '83 made it! What a great drive to get aquainted with my new old car.
