Check out my Brother inlaw's Holden Gemini.

It's got a Mazda 12a Rotory engine.

He just bought a 13b turbo engine to throw in there. It goes in within the next few weeks. It's also getting a custom Commodore disk brake diff also.

It should go like boonta when it's finished

At first I thought he was blipping the throttle all the time but I guess it's the idle. Odd sounding but I know zero about rotary engines.

It's an 83' model.

It's got a 'Bridgeported" 12a in it. (My Saab eats it)

But it's going get going when he drops the series 5 13b turbo in it.

He doesn't like the gold wheels either.

no 20B or is fitment an issue?

You would be surprised how well a 13b turbo can go. They are not far behind the 20b. Easy 10's

Now, a 26b is just nuts (Quad rotor)

i thought the Cosmos came with a 20b? werent those available in Australia?

yeah a shop up in New Zealand just built a 6 rotor! can't wait to see it in a car!

Tell him to stock up on Apex seals. Used to have a '83 rx7 gsl, very fun but slow car.

His is like a 1990 model engine, 13b turbo with Motec engine management. It should run 11's. It will go like boonta.
