I contacted a guy in Sweden who makes these spoilers and said that he would fabracted some up for me. Obvious the more i have made, the lower the price. He said if i only get 3 orders it would cost 300 a piece including the shipping to me. I'd then have so ship them out to the other two who would like to be part of the offer. That would cost probobly 10-20 depending how far you are. Otherwise i'd just have to buy one for myself from him but not at the discount he gave me. I can't remeber the id name ,but someone from the saablink who lives in the UK has bought one from him before.

Rob, this guy is Thomas Lundgren, brokull3@hotmail.com. He said he could ship 1-3 spoilers at a time. He wanted 1950 skr a piece for the spoilers but it cost 1000 to ship. For three it would cost 6850skr total which is like 303 dollars a person for a group of three. For only two peole it would cost 326 a piece, and if only me 392.

well if you decide to get in and nowone else does, it will cost you $326 plus $10/20 bucks to ship from my house to yours. I think perigine got his for 350 but it was also painted, a 40 dollar value

Like I've said all along, I can justify $250 on these, no more. If somebody can get a legit buy with these that won't take 6 months for $250, I'm in.

are these ng900 style or are they special made for 9-3? I might be interested but I need to see pics of them and how they accomodate the 9-4 brake/washer cluster without making any modifications. and also if the hatch will still open fully without scraping.

On my email to him i stated i'd want them for a 9-3 and he said he does both. IThis was the pic he send that i assume respresents his work or the work that it will look like.

I want to see the underside where the light cluster would fit, and to find out if anything on the car like the light/washer cluster needs to be modded. and if it will rub the roof when open fully. since I actually use my trunk quite a bit.

I find it hard to bitch about the price.

If you want a cheap spoiler, buy a Honda.
This is a SAAB spoiler.
These are BEYOND RARE and as such are expensive. Not to mention shipping.
VERY RARE + OVERSEA SHIPPING = $$$$$

If an American Co. made a large quantity of these the price WOULD be more like $250.

I remember hearing something about an early 90's hatch spoiler from a honda might work.. Anyone know if there is any truth to that. If you could, then you could make your own for probobly around 100.

I received this today from him:
"Hi again!

Yes I have 2different wings... one for the 900 (without brakelightouttake) and one for the 9-3 with brake lightouttake....

Anyhow, wich wing you chose there are some work on rubbing before painting it....But I have sold over 30wings here in sweden and there are only 1 person that had any problem but when I spoke to him I understand that he wasn't so "handy" ;-)....

I gave you the price to the 900... the different are 150skr/wing more to the 9-3.ö
regards/ Thomas

PS! I must check out so there will not be more extra costs exept the shipment if you decide to buy some... hope you understand that.DS!"

That means the people who want the 9-3 spoiler, like myself, you will have to add 19.75 to the deal price according to what he says above. In other words, It will cost me $322.75 for my 9-3, $303 (if your a 900), and $303 or $322.75 for the third person in an order of three. This includes the shipping to my house. Add $10/20 to get it from me to you unless you pick it up. I've shipped a rear hatch spoiler across country for $15 before.
My girlfriend also works at hallmark so shipping supplies will be easy to come by for me and that will not be a problem. The only discount from the other two orders placed that i receive is the fact that they are being shipped to my house.

I think this is proboby the cheapest deal around that we are going to get due to a minimal amount of spoilers being made. It is not like i'm asking for 6 - 12, or thousands of dollars up front. I only need 2 more people. If we get more than that I'll talk with him again to see if the price drops or what happened to the shipping costs.

so by "some work with rubbing" he means you have to sand the brakelight cluster down?

I still may be interested, but I really want pics of the underside of the 9-3 version. and how much "rubbing" is needed.

Here is the lastes reply with pics:

Hi again!

Here are some pictures on a wing for the 900, but now there are only 2bolts likeways for the wing to the 9-3 and there are a "hole" for the brakelight there to for the 9-3. Hope you see a bit on the pictures. I've sold the 9-3 and are now driving a 9-5 with lots of yumyum ;-) so I can't take any more pictures on that one. I have a 9-3 wing packaged that I can unpack and take some pictures on if you need that.

And yes I know there are wery little space between the spoiler and the roof when you lift the hatch... but it goes and there are some rubing etc before painting and endmounting. The wings arfe handmade in glasfiber in 2pices who are glued togehter with a special glue...there are no problems with the finish but you will do some work "rubbing" etc.

The fastest person did the rubbing, test mounting etc before painting in less than 30 min... then there where one for a while ago thet had put in nearly 50hours....... but he hade put in diods in the wing 15red one and one blue (for the alarm)....lots of work!!! but hey his alone in the WORLD with that wing and that is worth something ;-)

regards/ Thomas

About the payment so is it before I send the wings and to my I-ban account but that could we take then, first you have tho decid how many and what cinds...
