Ok so on the way to work this morning I got the bright idea to pick on the guy who was next to me in his brand new Dodge Charger R/T. All I can say is that was a slight mistake on my part!!!! I knew the it had a Hemi but damn I did not know it was as fast as it is!! It went like this ........

Light turns green I hit the gas....

He hits the gas..... :?

Does'nt seem like I am moving.... :x

He pulls out ahead by 3 or so cars by the end of the intersection.......

Me still not giving up push gas pedal through the floor........

I finally gave up when we I hit 70 and hung my head at the next light.

Oh well I guess I can't expect too much when the Charger runs 14.2 sec at 101 mph in a 1/4 mile in stock trim. Just means I need to get back to work on my car and get some more mods done!!!!

I went toe to toe with one on the highway a couple weeks back, dont know how hard he was trying though but it looked like he was flooring it
Even if I caught the Charger on a roll I would be hard pressed to think I would hang with one. Now there is another version of the Charger that has a 3.8LT 6cyl in it that puts out like 245HP that is pretty quick also that maybe you were running.

The way this thing pulled on me today I think most NG900's or OG 9-3's would have a hard time pulling on it. Dare I say this........even a Viggen might have to work a little bit to take one out. the scary thing is that there is another version of the charger that has over 440HP under the hood!!!!!!!!

THE SRT-8 Charger............damn hemi motors!! :(

Even with the 440 HP I hope it doesn't suffer the same drivetrain loss Mustangs do. I hear Fords are notorious for the amount of drivetrain loss. Maybe Dodge has the same problem. I wanna race a Charger R/T now. Do you think the Aero could take it?

I could hang with it. My 1/4 mile time is nearly identicle to what was mentioned above. My Hirsch tuned 9-3 with a stock T25 turbo does a quarter mile in 14.2 at 102 mph. For you reference, my car dynoed at 228 hp at the wheels the same day that 1/4 mile time was done.
