I'm trying to remove the bumper from my 4D and I need to buy a rather expensive tool to remove this nut:

Anyone knows what size of nut am I looking at?

Thanks!

PS: I'm so excited. First grease from my Saab on my hands!!

why do you need to use an expensive tool? just use a 17 or 19mm deep well socket and a 3 inch extension along with a ratchet
deep well socket!!!

That's what I was looking for! Anyway the set goes $20 and I find it rather expensive...

Thanks, McDerek :)
They are tools....its an investment.

Why are you removing the bumper?

If you are jsut removing the sskin you can leave the support in place... and just pull the skin off

Oh yeah, true... And I enjoy getting my tool collection back in place as much as nothing else!

Why are you removing the bumper?
I'm installing my haul hitch :)

(( Well in theory. I'll either make a great guide or I'll just run crying to my mechanic ))
Depends on how it mounts but I think all you need to do is pull the bumper skin you can drill/attach to the bumper support without removing it ( for most applications)

Thanks, but it's impossible. I have to drill the actual bumper for this one so it had to be removed. Once I'm done I'll post some pics. You'll see what I mean.
