I have an unevenly compressed Sachs-style clutch partially in my car, jammed against the slave cyl and flywheel. Anyone have any tips on how to remove it?

Maybe I can take out the pins on the flywheel, tap them into the engine or the other way with a drift, or is the bedplate in the way...

Use the stock saab clutch tool?

Or cut off the fingers off the pressure plate.
That's the problem, the real Saab tool is too long and has caused it to be compressed on one side and not enough on the other side... and it is a new pressure plate so I don't quite want to destroy it even though it may be getting warped ;)

The tool material is weak spring steel, real weak

But I hammered and crowbared that fucker and it is now nicely seated :) Now the hydraulics...
