I'd like to remove some of the front lip of the rear wheel wells, similar to what was done to the viggens. I dont think rolling is really and option in my opinion. Last fall I took a hammer to each lip while doing some body work and didnt get the results I was looking for. See the attached picture.


Could/should I just grind away the lip or possibily cut it away? If so, would I need to weld the lip after its ground/cut for strength?

You can definitely cut the piece out, like on Viggens. Make sure to take the proper steps to prevent rust, though.

you trim down the lip, heat it with a heat gun, and then use a fender roller.
