I saw this beast in Sweden last year and it was easily one of my favorite cars in the museum. Even though it seems as though the car is completely useless I just thought it was awesome that they would do something like this 50 years ago.

I don't know, I'd say from personal experience there is a distinct difference between people's reaction to, say an NG900 with saabsport to, say, a v12 ferrari. I would actually say it doesn't come close.

 

As far as I'm concerned, neither of those cars were very exciting.... I'd use these in the tests.

 

In general, I'd agree, but take a comparison of say a relatively quiet/well muffled V12 vs. a civic w/fart can.

That is another point I also thought of. Being that this was a Euro test. I wonder if they would respond as well to American V8's? Or one step further what engine sounds do women around the world prefer? Just so much left open to interpretation. Poorly run study at best. But, then again what can you expect from the Brits?
