Project Griffin: the white viggen clone creation

Started a project. The car is a 2000 9-3se w/ 64k on the clock I picked up in RI. So far i've put in a 3' V2 dp from GS, upgraded rear sway bar, saab sport exhaust, stage 2 tune, front strut brace, 17 bbs rims, painted the calipers, added some old saab emblems, roof mount antenna, euro spec corner turn signals, a vanity plate/euro plate, and polished di and other bits. The interior has a cf dash kit, autometer boost gauge, audiotroll mp3 hook up and cf door pulls. I have a black pearl grille but i'm not sure if I'll put it on until I get the entire thing taken car of.

Project has hit a snag as the paint for the front bumper has imperfections. Some how the bumper had some type of solvent on it so there are a few cracks in the paint. Have to let it cure for awhile to seal the bumper and see if any other show up..then get a respray...

They had to sand down through 6 layers of paint they said. Something in the old layers caused the paint not to adhear well in some spots. They said that they would fill the spots and respray once the new paint cured to help seal out any other problems

Did you not use the rear end you bought from me? The one I had on my car had an interior side of the exhaust cutout missing because the PO wanted to fit his stock exhaust... You can't tell unless you're really looking for it.

No, I used it and have a tip that fills the gap off the saab sport. It's a borla 20244 that i need to get welded on. I just ment i did not cut anything. I still wondered how you fit the extentions i bought from you, althought I won't have the front bumper on until Sept.
