9-3 Viggen ... all stock ... ran a best of [email protected] mph. The time isn't as impressive as the speed. It picks up more mph, and picks it up faster, than both the STi and the Mitsu Evo ... it just has almost nothing for launch. Sometimes at the track I get tire-spin in 3rd gear. :? Lousy traction 99% of the time.

nice...what mods do you have on your car.

yea the honda was just a fun car to mess around with. I got it dirt cheap, completely gutted, with roll cage, from a buddy who was going to make it a q.m car (fully built ls/vtec motor, with t3/4 drag turbo) but then inherited a acura NSX...bastard...

so it was a good car to learn on since i had to redue everything. even thogh u never get out a car what you put in. probably spent 8000 total including the purchase price.

but now with a saab its a completely differnt ball game. the car is so much nicer (luxury wise), proformance is great, and manufacturing on these cars is incredible. the saab is a keeper (and def. a sleeper...unlike the rice hondas)

lol Saab4life you probably won't be anywhere near 13.8. The Viggen will whoop on Evo's that run as low as 13.5, keep more or less even with STi's that run 13.0 ... but if you get a 14.8 in a Viggen you've gotten a GOOD time. Just no traction in Saabs ... and Viggens stock run 15 psi ... and have 2.5" mandrel bent (looks like stainless too) exhausts ... so they pack quite a whallop. Only way Saabs are gonna run 13's is with either HUGE amounts of power down at the big end of the track, or slicks.

You might actually have more traction. The low profile tires on the Viggen give it nearly nothing for launch, despite wide tires. But 13's is probably pushing it ... ERP's 280hp or so @ the crank 900 runs low 14's ... and he's done quite a lot.
