Finally got around to taking some good pictures of her. Has 2.5 inch ic pipes, T5 suite to stage 3, BBS RX 17x7.5, spec stage 2 clutch, poly suspension bushings, Silverstar headlights and foglights, 50% tint all around, tinted corners and sidemarkers, and infiniti kappa's replacing all the speakers inside. Im sure im forgetting some other things. But here she is!

EDIT: It will not be dropped, much to the dismay of many forum members. Haha. Its close to rubbing as is, and I don't want to run spacers. That coupled with crappy NY roads and aprons and the job sites I need to visit, the car would take too much of a beating.

Black Aero, nice. I like those wheels. I know you don't want to hear it, but lower it. just my opinion. Im w/ mcrowley, the only thing that ever scraped/rubbed was my exhaust clamps.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Yeah they are BBS RX, 17x7.5. Yours are most likely 16x7s. They remind me of something youd see on newer audis.

I have this weird rubbing on my rear I need to check out. If i take a corner hard...i mean really hard, something rubs on the passenger rear tire, then will subsequently rub at each turn you make after that. If you let the car sit, it goes away and wont do it until the next hard turn you take. Im thinking possibly an ebrake line or the like gets pulled by the gforces towards the wheel, gets caught, stretched, rubs, then resets as the cable or whatever returns to its natural position. If I sort that out, and am confident about not rubbing anything, then maybe ill consider a .5 drop...maybe. I really need exhaust first.

As for selling them, not in the near future. I wiated a few months trolling CL and VWVortex (early audis share our weird lug pattern) to find them. I drove 3.5 hours to get them and had to have two straightened (bent). One in the back still feels slightly out of balance, or maybe one in the front still. Who knows. Its not enoguh for the passenger to feel, but i can feel it in the pedals and steering wheel. It also could be the tires too. Like I said, who knows.

Anyways, thanks again for the compliments!

im now 99 percent sure its my ebrake on the passenger side...with nooone in the car it rubs only on hard turns, with someone in the passenger rear seat it rubs on nearly every left turn...must be that.

Update...its not the ebrake. A stick wheel weight is just sticking out far enough (I don't know what monkey balanced these, there are too many on there as is) to nip this little bump on the rear trailing arm...just gotta move the weights, problem solved. :-D

Nice car! I love those style wheels on 9000s.

I had the same problem with bumping on the passenger rear corner during hard turns. It turned out to be a screw on the ebrake mount that was rubbing one of the wheel weights. Even after moving things around I ended up spacing out the rear wheels 5mm since it would still bump somewhere during harder cornering.

If you're worried about lowering the car too much, you could try the Kilen springs that eEuroparts sells. I had the same concerns and have been using those spring on rural PA roads
(crap roads) with no trouble at all. Lowers the car just enough to get rid of that "needs to be lowered" look.

thanks for your link in my thread, those wheels look great, i just like how the cks have the little understated curve in the spokes, and the ridges going toward the center cap. also, what did you use to tint your corners? im planning on doing the same thing using niteshades spray-tint, i personally like how the orange shows thru just a little, it matches the oem tint on the rear turns. awesome saab!
