Phony 9-3 listings, why?

This stuff I can't figure out.

The guy lists a 2008 Saab 9-3 convertible on Craigslist for say $4,900 with low miles, "mint" and has pics posted. The car is in say .. Albany NY.

A week later, the same car with the same pic is listed in Pennington NJ. A home is pictured that quite fits the town. The rest of the pics are the same from the week before. Big foot in a sandal with hairy leg in an interior shot ..

A week later .. same car .. Ocean City NJ, same hairy leg and sandal. Main shot is driveway with beach in background and the rest have the hairy foot.

You e-mail/craig-mail the guy and never get a response. You know the price is wrong but never address this in your communication. There is never a come-back and you have a few friends try.

Saw one like this with a Turbo X and then this vert .... but what is in it for them? I was waiting for a hustle ... like send $50 to hold the car ... or some odd brokerage account hustle. But nothing? Why bother??

With the old "Want Ad Press" ... guy with a Dino .. phone him and (old Italian w pizza sounds in background) .. hey, I change-a-my-mind, I race her and now want to keep her" ... two weeks later, same Dino. There was always a car you just missed or something like the Dino. I just figured you gotta' sell papers at $1.25 and the shills spice it up.
