11th, the weekend on the 25th I have a cultural background and language crash course on Afghanistan at IU.

some people have indicated that either day would be good for them. it does seem to be quite the dead heat, I guess we'll let it go for a bit longer before a decision is made.

I'm one of those people that could go either weekend as long as theres a bit of notice. Maybe if the 11th wins we could keep the 25th as a backup date in case of bad weather, the weather in PA is always a little unpredictable that time of the year.

OK.....I'm voting the 11th because that is the only potential date I can make.

I'm not 100% I can make the 11th though, depends if I'm working on a friends car or not. Also depends if I can afford the gas.

Orginally I was figuring on doing half an S-fest drive on my way up to Binghampton on Oct. 22 (attending a friends wedding on the 25th).

Well my runs have always been their own thing and still will be. I generally don't have them this time of the year because of saabtoberfest, and not on a similar route. Since there is not going to be one this year, and I had gotten several requests, I'll run the run on a similar route as we took earlier this summer.

Saabtoberfest in it's original form may come back next year, or it may not. It's quite popular and in a location everyone loves so if it does not come back next year, as it was or similar I would be willing to take over the run in the future. However, I would never hope to do it as well the eurotech crew does it, which is why I would love to see saabtoberfest come back, under their supervision as it previously was. We can only hope this is a temporary thing.

Well said. I think to try to duplicate it would be silly. They run an incredible run. It will be more than a little sad not to be standing around in their garage come Oct. 11.

Doh, I've got a wedding to attend that weekend. I think I will just do 1/2 a s-fest drive on the way up to the wedding since i'm going right through the area anyway.
