This poll is not about the way it drives. This is not about the interior. This is about exterior design ONLY.

So help me settle a debate. Is it an attractive car?

I kind of agree with this, but it goes against everything porsche... they do 1 thing well and should stick to it. But even then, you can buy like 15 different 911's ranging from $80,000 to $200,000, why? And then what the hell are you doing ferrari... the FF?! I mean, are you kidding me? While it is a crazy fast car and an engineering marvel for sure, a hatchback ferrari? wtf for? A v-12 and your first AWD platform... for that hideous piece of turd?

It's just engineers showing off and making stupid unnecessary shit. All part of the problem with the entire car industry as a whole right now IMO. It's like, let's offer people all this over engineered crap they don't need and probably won't use. And then when you get down to the nitty gritty, all the important bits that actually make the car a CAR, are junk (maybe not with the pan' or FF).

Kind of funny that I'm enjoying driving my 85 c900 turbo on a daily basis and leaving my 03 9-5 aero sitting in the driveway most of the time (and I know I'm not the only one doing this sort of thing). Not saying my 9-5 isn't a great car, but when it really comes down to the pleasure of driving? I'll take the c900.

Manufacturers need to spend more time worrying about building good, fun, quality cars instead of how many gigs of memory the infotainment system has. Or maybe consumers need to focus more on these things... I don't really know anymore.

.End Rant

Not a fan of the car at all. Also not a fan of the new BMW hatchback/sedan mutation. But then again, I'm definitely not in the target market for either of these brands so my (or most of our) perspectives might widely vary from the info Porsche/BMW got when doing their market research. Anybody know how these are selling? Are they failing?

Yeah there are a billion of them down here.

I don't hate them quite as much as I did when they first came out, but the classmates are so much hotter. The Rapide is way more expensive but actually looks the business. I'm a fan of the Maser too, and the Karma (also a surprising number around here... see 3-5 a week, none of which are on fire).

This thing looks great, saabish, of course!

what is saabish though?
Here some details about some facts that cought my attention.

- you cant buy a new audi or bmw anymore
Without a turbo

- the tuning that one likes to object his worn saab to,
Can be bought pretty soon directly from factory.

-Saab ecopower = bmw efficient dynamics

-saabs unusual designs, i saw the new tesla 4 seater recently,
I have to say that thing remindedd me of Saab 9000,
Not in terms of exterior, but the whole drivetrain size
And interior space....

Base model compared to base model here:

Image

4.6 Biturbo V8 with 402 HP, 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, and 25 MPG highway. Starts at $72k.

Image

3.6 V6 with 300 HP, 0-60 in 6 seconds, and 27 MPG highway. Starts at $76k.

On top of that, to get a Panamera that will compete with the CLS AMG you'd have to spend nearly $140k whereas the Benz is at $96k.

So yeah, I think I'd get the much prettier, cheaper, and better performing Benz.
