Hopefully this can help draw some regional media attention. We'll get the LA club together in some capacity, but if you haven't seen this yet (it's also been mentioned on SaabsUnited and a few other places) get your local friends together.

Ours most certainly be real lovey-dubby, decent chance we'll end up at a bar afterwards.

I lost track of where I saw the Portland (Oregon) meetup posted, but per OP's link, it's @ Atomic Auto, the 14th at Noon ...
I don't see anything on their website, tho

Haven't taken my 99 out of the county yet, but I guess I'll see if it can make it :p

I will be at this one:

Kelly SAAB and the Central Penn SAAB Club are 100%
committed to SAAB and will be a part of this worldwide
event on Saturday, January 14th.

Meet at Kelly from 10am until 12 noon for coffee,
donuts, and conversation - Bring a Chair, please : )
12 noon- we will convoy to Longwood Gardens in the
Brandywine valley for a tour at a special group rate. We
will also be meeting up there with another convoy arriving
from SAAB of Willow Grove and taking group pictures for
post on SaabsUnited, Facebook, etc.

RSVP at juliegardner@kellycadillacsaab.com

(Attendees will receive a free We Are SAAB sticker courtesy

Just out of sheer curiosity, how do you guys expect to Save Saab? Who are you campaigning for or against?

Is it a fund raiser?

I'm confused. I think there is one in MPLS this weekend. But I don't know what they plan to do.

Ever hear of a meet and greet? It sounds like one of those plus a nice Saab drive to meet up with other Saab drivers. Also allows dealerships to show they are still here and willing to continue to service the vehicles. Also they have sales on left over new Saab's....

A meet and greet implies that there's a lasting relationship to be had.

Here, not so much, unless an investor steps in.

The hope is that potential investors will realize that there is a market. But until and unless enthusiasts plan to purchase new vehicles, service them, etc there really IS no market. They don't care that we're going to be sad in five years when we can't buy a 2012 9-5 for a fifth of the original price.
