For all of those who always showed interest in the car, and asked me if I would ever let go of it, and if I did, how much is it worth to me?

In a nutshell, this is a very special car. It' s a very known car in The SAAB community and in European and exotics car groups. It gets serious attention every where it goes and it definitely gets more than the anticipated respect from many 500+ hp cars on the road. This car is a blast to drive and pleasure to own. If you are looking for a car that is very unique and cool and will have you easily run with exotics and top of the line European cars, This is the one. I was able to easily register this car for exotics only events and drives because of how unique the car is. This is your ticket to run with the big boys, impress the big boys and stand out in absolutely any crowed. I am letting go for the right offer because I have owned the car for 15 years and I had so much fun with it. I am now ready for something else. This is going to feel like sending your kid to college or your daughter to a husband… Not good ;-) …

If you haven't already post it up on Saabnet..... when I sold my car I got the most interest from that site. I had mine insured for $50K & sold it for under $10k :(

Can't help but feel there is a lot of money in the price that is there because of what you "feel" the car is worth. Unfortunately the new buyer won't be buying your personal feelings towards to the car.

Wish you the best though in selling it.

Very cool car. Definitely probably the most unique 900 out there. Unfortunately though, being as unique as it is, it will only appeal to a very limited market. Take that, as well as the fact that someone could probably duplicate the car for no more than 10k, and it will be tough to sell at 25-28k. If I were you, I just wouldn't sell. No way you'll get enough money out of it to justify letting it go. The only Saab probably worth that dough is either an original 1/3 pearl white prototype, or one of those wide-fendered enduro 900t's. Otherwise, I'm not sure ANY classic 900 touches this price point.

Holy Shit! $28k?!! you could buy a brand new 9-3 for that money.
you could also get a lightly used e46 m3 for that as well,, or a C5 zo6 vette. or an acura NSX,, or 4th gen TT supra,,, the list keeps going. all of those are super cars,, not c900's

Certainly not the car for a SAAB purist looking for an immaculate example of a highly modified c900, but you certainly have a lot of desirable components in that rig. Park it next to Jon Williams' pearl white and then ask yourself if it's worth 28K though. I think buyers in that price range are going to want a modified car that is also a very polished show piece without a single tiny flaw. Who knows, I could be wrong--GLWS.

I posted mine for $14K if I recall.... like stated not many people want a modded C900 which makes the people interested in the car a very small group of people. My old SPG was far from perfect.... my biggest area that needed fixed was the interior, HATED those momo seats I had which I feel really hurt my chances of getting it sold for and descent amount of money. Sold it if I recall for $7K with me keeping my AP Racing brakes & 2 sets of Forgeline wheels......

Like stated... keep it..... I still regret selling mine ....... I wasn't looking forward to spending $10K on another trans + the interior made me sell mine.
