The new GT-R is awesome, I like the looks of the R33 and R34 better, but hot damn is the new one incredible....needs to go on a diet though...3800 pounds! 8)

Yeah i def respect it for what it is, but i'd still have the porsche, i'd even take a used one the same price as the gtr for fairness over the gtr, the character and soul isn't there, plus the damned thing is ugly (except the rear) IMO.

 

i would love to have that car. but with the gps the second you get near a track your warranty is voided.

I'll keep my GTO. 400 hp, 400 lb/ft for less than 30 grand when new, it's tough to beat.

 

That was the most boring and worthless video i have ever seen. I cant stand listening to that guy, let alone see the cars walk along the track.



I have see a lot of cars even with its high hp numbers are still left behind on the track. I will still take the GTR over a lot of cars on the market today. Hopefully in a few years the price will drop and i can pick one up.

For only $30K, it would definantly be worth the added money. No comparison... kinda like comparing a viggen to a GTR

 

I liked it, i knew the GTR was posting numbers that exceeded everyone's(including the germans) expectations.

I'd be more impressed if I saw a GT2 or turbo cruising, but I would deff give the GTR a second look.

 

Did he say that the transmission is in the rear? So, it sends all the power to the rear, and then back up front again for the front wheels?

..or did I hear that wrong?

Am I the only one here who thinks the GTR's taillights look like they're straight off of a Chevy Cobalt?

I know I'm not, my brother has a Cobalt and he said the same thing when the GTR was on the cover of AutoWeek.

Well if you wanna be technical (i can't believe i'm defending nissan!) the Skyline had this look a long time ago, then Chevy put them on the impala (with the factory color match taillight covers it looked like a pure skyline rip off) and then put round tails on the crapbalt. I actually think the rear end is the best part of the gtr besides the engine.

 

That makes more sense than Nissan ripping off the Cobalt.

 

My friend of mine bought one of these when he heard they were coming out. Plopped down full payment months in advance and from what he told me he will be receiving number 3-whatever that means. But this is a guy who has a lot money. He also bought a 2008 GT3, got it a little over a month ago, and that thing is a blast to drive. He was going to get the new audi R8, but wanted an every day car. Can't wait to go for a spin in that thing.
