What are your plans, Resolutions?

My nye2010 is going to consist of going to a local bar and throwing 2 or 3 lies at a victim.

I call "victim" any woman who is inebriated. The lies are always the same proven staples. But new years its just easier. And I have the advantage of a zip code that offers good choices.

What's going on in your precinct?

Shit jk, you humiliate me with goals for the new years. Come march, my big project will be complete and ready for your skills.

Having said that, now I must detail what 2011 will bring (hopefully):

2. Date this girl who's a developers daughter and very pretty to boot.
3. Upper-deck my old boss's powder room.
4. Become a licensed electrical contractor.
5. Another investment property.
6. Finish my website
7. Aquire a tally spg.

Somewhat successful. But I failed to recognize far more important goals.

1. Get a 997 gt3 NOPE. NOT EVEN CLOSE.
2. Date this girl who's a developers daughter and very pretty to boot. WENT THERE, WASN'T WORTH THE TROUBLE.
3. Upper-deck my old boss's powder room. I FAILED AT GETTING INVITED TO HIS HOUSE.
4. Become a licensed electrical contractor. DONE.
5. Another investment property. DONE.
6. Finish my website. DONE.
7. Aquire a tally spg. NOPE.

Nice goals, I have a few that I hope to accomplish:

-Shoot for straight As next semester
-Get an internship at a major medical research company
-Compete to the best of my ability during my triathlon season
-Don't crash the Z
-Get money, get paid
-Invest in some more stock with that money I was paid

Goals: First and foremost get the new turbo in my TDI... which I just happened to snap the shaft on today...
Also: quit being lame, either get myself help or something
purchase my first home
and a few others I cant think of.

Plans; none so far. If any develop, they probably wont involve any desperate, inebriated wimins...

Who the fuck is Fred?

In 2011 and 2012, due to some tax law changes or something, I'll be receiving extra cash from my shares in my grandfathers company.

My goal is to put some semi-serious jack away over the next two years. The stupid side of me is tempted to save for both years and buy my dream car.

The smart, practical, father of two in me knows what I need to do. If the economy doesn't get any better, my back up plan involves moving back to Denmark. With the cash I'm getting(tax free)and the sale of my house I could be set up in Denmark as well as I am here but better off in other ways.

Go. Based on car shopping here in the United States, all the good combinations are in Europe anyhow.

Drop us a postcard when you get settled and we'll pop 'round for a visit.

primary plan: find girlfriend since all my friends are getting engaged.

secondary plan: become comfortable with my awesome life situation at the ripe old age of 25 (even tho it still scares me)

tertiary: become awesome at my job, and continue learning

oh...and make it rain.

Oh, ser, I was considering going looking for that thread but didn't want to know what I would find.

Aireeca, circa start of 2009 (two states and two license plates ago):

Read all the books I don't want to move again.
Made some progress on that recently. Will do more in the New Year.

Finishing sorting through worldly possessions with the goal of having fewer worldly possessions.
I've done an OK job of that. It's everybody else who thinks I need more things.

Check.
And check.

Plans: Drinking some microbrews and Jameson with a lovely lady and friends this evening while her kids play Forza 3.

Resolutions: Drop 100lbs (formerly a euphemism for dumping this girl I dated last year, now srs bsns), restart the company - just doing auxiliary inputs, buy an older 9-3 convertible before Spring.

I'll be working until about 5. Then my GF and I are going to grill steaks and eat a pretty awesome dinner before heading out. After that, who knows.

Resolutions? Haha.

A few physical:
Continue my lifting routine
Do some cardio through the winter (cringe... running...)
Ride my SS a lot
Break some hill climb records (both personal and actual course records)

A few personal:
Don't let work stress me out
Bank some serious money
Relearn all the years of Spanish language I took in JR high, HS, and college since I've gotten a little rusty.

A few Saab related:
Maintain the NG900 and install stage 3 stuff once the snows are off. Enjoy the heck out of it.
Finish small things with the c900 and do suspension, wheels, and tires. Enjoy the heck out of it.
Attend SIS, SCD, SOC, Carlisle, and stuff. Enjoy the heck out of it.

Haven't really thought about it until now.

Seems my party is on right now. Happy hour until buzzed, then (unfortunately) go to my clients house for shmoozing and playing dominoes.

I don't know if it qualifies as "working" tonight but it sure will be a miserable time. The fuck lives 45 minutes away.

Resolutions will include re-quitting smoking and dropping like 50lbs via crossfit and jogging.

This has been a miserable year. For everybody in the working class in florida its been just dire. Only people doing ok are those with finantial family assistance. I don't have that cushion.
