I got a little tired of the Borbet type FS wheels so I went out and bought a Pair of RKII's and refinished them...Also threw on a front Euro tag..Personally love the way the RK's look..Anyway, here you go:

You'll certainly get no argument from me. This was at SOC '07, where we took home a People's Choice Award. Mine are RK-I wheels.

The guy who did the refinishing was pushing hard for me to paint the centers LB..Someone else should be the guiney pig! I think painting the centers makes the 17' RK's look too small tho

Leave them alone, krelly! You've got SAAB center caps, that's enough "lightning" blue. ;)

BTW, how extensive was the refurb and how much per wheel? Oh, and where?

Trust me, no LB paint will go on them! When I bought the wheels the lips were trashed. Curbing all over, clear coat peeling, etc. The faces of the center pieces were good so we didnt touch them. He refinished the barrels by bringing them down to the aluminum. When I throw some mothers polish on them they look SHARP. He charged $400 for 4 wheels.

I used Steve Smith, link below

Looks great, man! Always had a soft spot for RK II's and double-three spokes. I WILL do one or the other on our 9-5 Aero someday.

$100 a wheel for what you describe is about right, and they certainly look great. Good deal all around.
