Hey everyone, just checking in from north central CT. Post on the various other forums, figured it was time to quit lurking about 'round here.

Cars include my daily 99 Viggen:

My baby, my 85 900i/SPG clone:

Wife's GM-eriffic 08 9-3 Aero sc:

08 HD Fatbob:

85 Rx-7 Project:

88 Merkur XR4Ti (for sale!):

And finally, my 88 Tbird turbocoupe that I unfortunately have no pictures of :(

Whew what a list, too many projects but my favorites (aka the ones that I spend the most time/money on) will always be the saabs. Look forward to meeting the folks here that I haven't already met elsewhere, especially you others in CT.

Chris

lol, that has to be the biggest creeper welcome I have ever seen, Stig. Awesome.

On a side note, cool collection! I have a rear spoiler for your c900... it would benefit from one greatly. Also, black window trim would also help ;)

LOL I'm with you, that was a little creepy but thanks for digging those up stig. Aren't you an A-R? Haven't been by there in a looong time.

Anyway, yar, I'm all for the black window trim though the bareback look has sort of grown on me. My only hesitation is that it's a 900i which I've never been able to find in the states, and I'd rather not make the permanent change of painting the trim. If I can dig up a spare set in decent shape then you can bet it'll be swapped.

I do what I can :D

And yeah, AR is where I pulled all that from... back in '07....
Nice collection, and welcome! (Revert to resurrected Sightings post.) There's a few locals on here; we should all meet up.

Also, check out the seemingly dead but soon to be revived "See You Next Tuesday" meet that has been known to happen:

scrolling... nice car, nice car, nice car, nice bike, nice car, wait, is that an XR4TI? WTF is that doing there? :D

We've all got our 80s vices I guess. I've got an '86 Chrysler LeBaron Turbo vert that I'm fond of that I get ribbed about all the time.

Anyway... Welcome to the board!!
Is the H-D a 96ci efi?
welcome! Awesome collection of Saab's and other toys! Post a For Sale ad in the Sale section of the merkur - a lot of us here appriciate those cars (since they take nice to stock c900 parts as upgrades)

Yep, 96" twin cam. "Stage 1" (filter/slipons/tune), looking into going to a heavier weight fork oil and a slightly taller rear shock this winter. It's the only big twin that handles well, imo, which is why I bought it. I'm not huge on the Harley 'culture,' but this bike just called out to me. Either that, or I'm trading it in the next year or two on the new Duc multistrada...

Welcome to the link!

I grew up in CT as well and would play Granby in HS.

Nice group of cars.
Welcome! I'm from New Haven County CT. We've got to get a CT meetup going, that would be the cats mittens.
Nice, welcome aboard!
