Unfortunately I'm not, they're going to be refinished 8 years has taken a toll on them. I'll let you know if I change my mind though.

The RK's are perfect on the car they look gorgeous IMO but i like to switch things up. Plus i got the deal of a lifetime on those Verde's which are also gorgeous. Both wheels compliment the car in their own way, thanks for the compliments/feedback guys keep it coming, i like to hear what others think.

I think you think too highly of yourself. I've been on SC for quite some time but have not seen pictures of your car.

But seriously, I like it man. I did like the old wheels better, but it's all personal preference.

 

Aw, I'm not surprised though i just recently started posting pics on SC out of boredom. (down time at college) I just threw it out there for those that frequent the OG9-3 forum, i've posted quite a few pics in the last few months.

I'm glad you like it though, not much can compete with RK's they're an amazing wheel.

Maybe another angle on the new wheels would change some minds, i'll try to get a couple more pics up soon.

 

I agree with you on the different looks they have. I have Borbet type fs rims, and they really make my car look sooo much more modern than my stock vikings. But in an ideal world, I would have BBS's like yours

What center caps your rocking on those RK's?

Also, that orange is way out of place in those front corner lamps!

 

They're SAAB/Scania OEM caps, they started to fade and chip from using wheel cleaners and from age in general so i just took some industrial strength wheel cleaner to them and polished off the color so they were chrome with the raised SAAB/Scania text and logo. I'm going to get some custom ones after the wheels are refinished if there's any money left over.

Those reflectors are going to go, I just don't have tools at my apartment here at school.

Dont hate on the oem orange reflectors... They have style, sophistication, class.

 

Maybe if he still had the orange fender blinkers it would blend better.

 

Not liking the new wheels, its probably more do to with the finish on the wheels. Too blang-blangidy!

 

It's actually a darker gunmetal color in the center with a polished lip but still, much more "in your face" than the RK's. For some reason these pics don't show the color differences though, crappy phone camera.

 

I like what you did with the center caps. Both sets look good!
