Have been a Saab owner since 1993 when I bought my first Saab 9000 CSE, added a 94 900 CVT and then 2 9-5 Aeros 2000 and 2004. Left the brand when it seemed like GM was going to finally kill it. Owned a couple of Lexus SC 430s, nice cars, reliable but sterile and soulless.

Took delivery of my new 2010 9-5 Aero 3 weeks ago and I am so glad to be back in a Saab.
Look forward to participating and learning here.

Welcome. We're glad to have you!

This also makes two members who own Brand New 9-5's.

I can't see your pics, the site wants me to login.

AWESOME! Thank You for buying a new Saab when many of us wish we could.

Welcome to the link and enjoy yourself. I believe there will be a new generation 9-5 section being added soon. GA will be happy to have someone to talk with now in that section :) lol

How do I view your Saab porn?

Thank you, I feel very fortunate to have my new Aero. It has been a blast so far. Had quite a few looks and people asking me about my ride at red lights. Here in Boston the brand is well liked.

Welcome to the site!! Still no luck on the link though, it wants us to sign in and I don't have an account. If you have pictures on your computer you can just load a few of them as attachments to your post.

I'll tell you one thing they look much, much better

in person. The car has a real presence. Many people have commented on it being big, but it drives smaller. Very tight and well behaved in the twisties, especially in Sport mode. It is the best handling Saab I have owned. I think a real improvement over the last 9-5. There is certainly GM DNA in the car but it drives like a true European Sport Sedan, not a like a Buick as some a$$^&*&% have said. I am sure as we go forward the upgrades will enhance the model further. I love the HUD, when using the NAV it projects the directions right onto the HUD, very clever. The lighting system is the best I have seen. The 40 gig HD is terrific as is the upgraded HK surround stereo and the Voice Activated NAV works like a dream.
I've been stopped at red lights and people want to roll down the window and question the car, especially here in Boston.

More to come later, I already feel very welcomed.
Thanks,
JTMav

beauty. seems the solid colors are much better for this car than the satin-silver intro cars.
lease or own?
Own, I put 20k mi/year on my cars so leasing wasn't really an option. Certainly a risk, money wise, buying a Saab new. Don't know if the newer models will hold up any better than the earlier ones did, just have to wait and see.
