Yes, it's German, but Swedish plates are very hard to find for less than $40, and this one was $10. Plus it covers up the holes left in the bumper by the previous owner.

I've been wanting to get a Euro plate for the viggen, but in NY you need a front plate and I really don't want a ticket for something stupid like that.
How often do they give out tickets for front plates? I usually dont run a front plate and have never gotten a ticket for it. I have gotten a written warning for it twice over a span of 4 years but they never usually bring it up because I'm doing something much worse. Yes it is a risk you run but for some its worth it.
I was thinking of getting the custom plate with the correct numbers and letters with the mass flag on it and running it out back. I prob wont just because I have no idea what a cop would say and I'd rather not have my car impounded, which is the worst they can do.
At the least get the plate for showing the car which is my ultimate plan.

NYS law mandates a front plate to but I've had mine on for +3yrs and have not had one issue... mine is also the same numbers as my ny tag though... might have something to do with it
