Has anyone seen a new 9-5 in the wild? I have yet to see a single one.

Don't say yes if you own one yourself, you drove by the dealer, your parents bought one, you test drove one, you worked on one, et al. That doesn't count. I'm looking for genuine "sightings".

Well hopefully we see more, apparently Saab has been lazy at paying suppliers, production was halted yesterday for a few hours yesterday because of lack of parts. The russian dude has applied to become a shareholder or whatever. As long as they make it to the new 9-3, things should get better

Saw a white Aero in Louisville a couple weeks ago. It had standard KY plates on it so it wasn't on a test drive or anything. It was sitting in front of some uppity-up looking clothing store in a wealthy part of town. Looked good too. Your eyes went straight to it.

I've seen a few (6?) in the wild here, but there is a dealer in town so there is a possibility that some/most of them were being test driven.

I've seen 3 in the U.S., two in MN and one in LA.

They are EVERYWHERE here in Sweden right now, I rode in a taxi-duty NG9-5 diesel 6MT on Tuesday leaving the factory in Trollhättan. Probably seen as many as I've seen the older gen 9-5's (and those are everywhere too).

I didn't even bother trying to take photos. They seem to like them here - most of them have steel wheels for winter too, look pretty cool.

Considering our economy is terrible and so many people bashed Saab in the last few years, its no surprise. I also have not seen any AWD Saabs yet. Its hard to compete with crap cars like the Korean car market. I know so many people who use to buy nice, high end cars, today they are buying Korean crap and driving around with big ass frowns on their faces :) Not to ramble this in another direction, but has anyone driven or been a passenger in a Honda or Toyota Hybrid ? Wow that is the most annoying ride ever ! The car lurches and vibrates as it charges the battery...no thank you !

Yeah that could play a role, however the Koreans are stepping it up, who knows how they will hold up long term, but initial quality is good, and that's what most consumers look at.
